Cookies and Concrete

“I met Ben when he came to teach a community education class on the basics of concrete patch and repair. During that class, I realized my job was bigger than 'do-it-myself,' so I decided to hire a contractor. I wanted three things from the concrete company: professionalism, expedience and honesty. Ben gave me the facts on a free written estimate and stayed on budget. I had no interest in hearing ‘for a few dollars more,...’ when hiring a contractor to do a specific job. When we discussed the job, Ben asked a few questions and a deal was made the next day. The project was done quickly and beautifully in the amount of time he projected. There were no excuses and, more importantly, no delays! (I did not want to have a huge concrete mess in my front yard for a week.) The work was precise, the clean up was complete and Ben gave the project a thorough final inspection. He also put in a beautiful new handrail. Ben is an honest, independent businessman who cares about quality and customer satisfaction. At the completion of every project, Ben does a work site inspection to make sure the concrete work has been done according to the customer's specifications as outlined in the project estimate. In appreciation for their business, Ben gives every customer a dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies. These are his specialties, cookies and concrete! If Susanne says it so, she means it!
